The Alexander catholic church is a historic-architectural landmark. It was designed by a Warsaw architect A. Voitsekhovsky and was built in 1903.Till 1928 catholic services were held in the church.

Taking into account wonderful accoustic properties of the hall HUGO MAYER, a German organ-buildin company, built and installed a concert organ here.

Starting with 2000 not only organ players but also piano players, strings-instrument players, wind-instrument players, vocalists, choruses, chamber orchestras give their performnces here with great success.

Many Russian outstanding organ players as well as musicians from Germany, Italy, France, Japan and Great Britain have performed in the hall during 13 years of its existence. All the performers highly praise the hall, saying that accoustically it is on the level with the European standards and one of the best halls in Russia.
